We love to get together for play and socializing. The Mothers’ Center offers regular playgroups, fun outings in Fort Collins and Denver, a babysitting co-op, a book group, Moms and Dads Night Out and much more.

Members' children receive discounted or free admission to most events (Denver Zoo, Aquarium, etc). Most events are held in homes, parks, or other venues around town. For more information on specific activities, contact us or better yet, become a member on Big Tent and view the event calendar.

Playgroups

Playgroups are a great way for small children to practice the fine art of sharing, getting along with others and discovering new ways to play. They’re great for moms, dads and caregivers too, offering social contact and a support system at a low cost. All ages are welcome. Members run the playgroups themselves, and some groups have bonded so well they’ve lasted years.

Currently, a weekly playgroup meets on Thursday mornings at 10 a.m.

Babysitting

The Babysitting Co-op is a group of families who share babysitting. Our most popular event is a drop-off from 5-9 on Saturday nights. Each family takes turns hosting (or helping to host at someone's home) these drop-offs. There are also drop-offs during the week that members work out on an individual basis. The co-op is free and open to all Mothers’ Center members. For more details see our guidelines and waiver. Mom's Night out

Moms deserve to have fun too. Each night out is tailored to a member’s request. Come blow off some steam and make new friends, or make new memories with existing friends.

Dad's Night out

Take a break from Daddy duty and come hang out with the guys!

Book Club

Participating in a reading group can be fun and great for the brain! The Book Club meets to discuss a book that everyone is reading at the same time. Titles are chosen with input from the group.

Local Outings

Northern Colorado offers so many cool experiences for children and families. We plan a variety of outings throughout the year. Examples: Farms, museums, indoor inflatable play areas.

Come have fun with your kids and other moms. Your child(ren) will thank you for it!
