on the MC Organizational Chart. Each month this
group gets together to discuss the Mothers' Center business.
Members from each MC committee usually attend, and all
Mothers' Center members are encouraged to participate at
this meeting. Steering Committee members take turns
hosting this committee and the Secretary is the chair of
the meetings.

Grant Writers and fundraising volunteers. This
committee plans the MC fundraising events and oversees
grant writing.
Volunteers
are needed for this Committee:
- Grant
Writer: No experience necessary! This is a "team" position
which requires an interest in drafting proposals with
a group of writers who share the job of revising and
editing. It could also involve researching particular
grants to determine which grants are worth pursuing,
and/or setting up a database to keep track of grant
deadlines. This position provides a great opportunity
to know the community and to build your résumé in
the process.
- Fundraising
volunteers: We
need general volunteers on this committee to assist
at fundraising events.
