Join the BABYSITTING CO-OP

We are a group of mothers who share babysitting at weekly drop-offs (we also do some trading on an individual basis).

How does it work? Two moms sign up for a date and watch up to 8 children for 4 hours. There are daytime and evening drop-offs each month. You earn tokens and use those tokens to sign your children up for a drop-off.

Soccer—It’s a Kick!

Spring registration for kids’ soccer with the Fort Collins Soccer Club begins January 10, 2006. For your child to play in the Under 5 category, his or her birth date must fall between 9/16/2000 and 12/31/2001. For more information, go to: www.soccerfortcollins.org/index.htm.

Poudre Valley Nurse Line

Poudre Valley Nurse Line is a new service provided by Poudre Valley Health System in affiliation with Mayo Clinic. The Poudre Valley Nurse Line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Call 1-800-943-9066, and a friendly nurse will help you decide the most appropriate course of action for your medical problem. The Poudre Valley Nurse Line is staffed by experienced registered nurses.

This is a free community service. There is no charge to call. However, please note that Poudre Valley Nurse Line is not an emergency medical service. For emergency medical care, call 911 immediately.

Parents of Multiples Garage Sale

The Fort Collins Parents of Multiples Garage Sale will be Saturday, May 6, 2006, 8 AM-12 PM at O.D.’s Sports Crossing, 218 Smokey St. Over 40 sellers will have thousands of items for children of all ages. Items include clothing, shoes, nursery and children’s furniture, toys, ride-ons, equipment (strollers, high chairs, swings), books, videos, and much more. Admission is $1.

If you are interested in selling your own items at the sale, contact Linnea H allmark at 461-4866 or tltghallmark@yahoo.com. You must be signed up to sell by April 14, 2006, but you may sign up any time before that. Sign up now so you can start tagging your items! This is a great way to make some extra cash and meet some new people.
