on the event.
Why
Sign Up for Programs?
We
need to know how many participants to expect, how many snacks to bring or
if a program needs to be rescheduled.
Please
don’t wait. Sign up for the programs you want to attend today. (you
can always cancel if something comes up)
Programs are FREE
unless
indicated otherwise.
We’ve
changed our programming schedule! The programs listed below are
only some of what Mothers’ Center has to offer. Check our
website for regular program updates and additions. Want
updates automatically emailed to you? Consider becoming a member!
In addition,
we have changed our child care rates. Costs are now $2 per child
per hour for members, and $4 per child per hour for non-members. Exceptions
are certain meetings, where childcare is either $1 or FREE!

Writer's
Workshop for Mothers
Presented by Heather
Janssen
If
you've ever been moved to laughter or tears by a well-written story
about motherhood, then The Motherhood Writer's Workshop will be a fantastic
outlet for you to either begin your own journey of writing, or
continue what you may have already started through journaling or scrap
booking. Don't be intimidated if you think you're not a writer--we're
all storytellers (just yesterday you phoned your mother about that
funny thing that your kid said, remember?), and getting it on paper
will prove to be both cathartic and entertaining. Heather Janssen,
the co-founder, publisher, and editor of a local literary magazine
for mothers will be facilitating this workshop
